#MeetTheTeam Part 9!

Meet Keysa Murrell, Staffing Coordinator Number Three!
We are known for taking care of our consultants and paying attention to every last detail when it comes to client requests. We are so fortunate to have not one, or two, but THREE staffing coordinators that work to match great nurses and professionals with our clients. Every day, Keysa pulls candidates from our database and prepares them for future placement. Through our vetting process, she makes sure everything is perfect and people go where they need to go. Every morning, our staffing coordinators meet and strategize to place candidates where they should be. If one staffing coordinator has talked to a professional that they think may be a perfect fit, they can help fill open positions and exceed expectations. Having Keysa on the team is an absolute delight!

#MeetTheTeam Part 7!

Meet Kimberly Barnes, our Staffing Coordinator!

You may have noticed that we have a lot of people in the office working on sourcing high-quality candidates.  This is because we know it takes a team to amplify our efforts in meeting clients’ needs. One of the best things about Clinical Resources is that we can give you the personal attention you need when it comes to anything, and we have a team that genuinely cares about each and every one of you. Kimberly’s job, like many others here involves recruiting potential consultants and orienting them once they have signed on to take a position. She interviews these candidates, and she is very careful about who she chooses. This is also what makes us so great; we work for both sides to place the perfect candidate in the perfect position. Kimberly is always smiling and always happy to assist in any request, and that makes her an irreplaceable member of our team.

Graduation Day!

Tuesday was the big day! Our President and CEO, Jennifer Scully, graduated! No, she didn't go back to college for another degree; it was from the Georgia Mentor Protege Connection!

The Georgia Mentor Protege Connection is put on by the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC) with the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) and Georgia Tech's Enterprise Innovation Institute each year! How it works is every year, smaller firms apply to be mentored by successful, larger companies. They go through a rigorous application process and are then matched up with an appropriate mentor.

Last year, Clinical Resources was matched up with Wells-Fargo.  Jennifer's mentor was Lesley Fluke, VP, Principal of Business Banking. The encompassing goal of the program is to create jobs and spur economic growth throughout Georgia by growing small business, like ours. And how appropriate that it is the 50th Annual Small Business Week?

Over the past 12 months, Jennifer has assessed her past and present with her mentor in order to plan for the future. During the program, they have met on numerous occasions to report and analyze progresss and take all the steps necessary to achieve their 3 set goals.

Proteges are paired with mentors from successful companies headquartered in Georgia or companies that have a heavy presence here. They are not limited to any one industry, and have a well-rounded image. Many of them have already been long-standing partners with the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council. The relationships the proteges develop with their mentors and can be integral in helping the smaller firms grow.

The timeline of the program looked like this:

June - Mentor/Protege Orientation at the Coca-Cola Company
July - Reporting Session 1 and Educational Forum on Strategic Planning
September - Reporting Session 2 and Educational Forum on Finance
November - Reporting Session 3 and Educational Forum on Sales
January - Reporting Session 4 and Educational Forum on Marketing
March - Annual Retreat & Expo on Technology
April - GMSDC Minority Business Summit and Business Opportunity Expo
May - Reporting Session 5 and Educational Forum on Operations & Infrastructure
June - Graduation Ceremony hosted by Delta Air Lines
With networking events in August, October and February

"The Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection is a business development partnership between the State of Georgia and the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Enterprise Innovation Institute administered by Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC). It provides opportunities for Georgia small businesses to benefit from a partnership with a corporate mentor for a period of one year. Emerging firms can build relationships, explore new technologies, learn about best practices and benefit from the wisdom of corporate executives who are committed to the long-term health and overall growth of small businesses in Georgia. The goal of the program is to help small businesses to be successful over the long haul, by helping them to develop capacity, enhance their skill sets and become more competitive. Research has shown that access to the right kind of coaching and mentoring significantly increases the success rate in small business, while both the mentor and the protégé benefit tremendously from their interaction."

Last night, we had a mixer at the office after hours to catch up with our GMPC friends!

#MeetTheTeam Part 6!

Meet Wyatt Kulla, CR’s Senior Recruitment Specialist.

For Wyatt, all things are equally important and deserving of real time and attention. Every day, Wyatt handles client relations, ensuring that all needs are specifically met and exceeded. When he sources candidates, he has high expectations and always sees placements through to the end. Even the most challenging of requests are met, and that is because of Wyatt’s keen ability to listen. They say the best listeners are the best leaders, and we’d like to think so when it comes to Wyatt! For him, no question is too small and no request is too much to handle. He establishes great relationships with clients and consultants from the get-go and that’s what sets him apart.

#MeetTheTeam Part 4!

Giving all of you the opportunity to learn about our team is important to us, and we hope it's giving you some more insight into what we do at Clinical Resources. We call ourselves a team, not a group, or anything else, because each one of us does something that contributes to the growth of our organization. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses and that's what makes us human. We don't pretend to be perfect, but we strive to provide a tailored experience to every person we come in contact with because that is our top priority. We truly hope you have been enjoying learning more about our us, so here's our next installment of #MeetTheTeam!

Meet Susan Wernsman, our Recruitment Assistant Wonderwoman!
Susan wears many hats in our organization, she's good at many things, and she walks so quickly that it's possible for her to get all of these things done. Most days, Susan is working hard at candidate sourcing, managing our recruitment database, and assisting Jennifer or anyone else in just getting the job done, whatever it may be. She treats each candidate within our database as her own, and pays attention to every last detail in all that she does. She assists in keeping everyone's tech (gadgets, systems) updated, and always goes the extra mile.

We Wear Purple

Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Every year, millions of elderly and disabled vulnerable adults are exploited, abused, and neglected whether by physical, financial, or mental means. Often times, the elderly are dependent on others, such as caregivers in the long term care facilities we work with. Many of the elderly that live independently are targets for abuse, often by people whom they trust. We make it our mission to place consultants that are compassionate toward the elderly and work with healthcare organizations that work for the empowerment of seniors.

Today, we wear purple.

Sadie runs a tight ship, and she definitely keeps everyone here grounded with her pragmatic approach to business. Her years of experience in a respected physician’s practice has helped her grow Clinical Resources into a business that practices care and diligence with every placement and builds rapport with every client and consultant.
